See the whole squad at once
You are running a development squad from a RIB with a whistle and a good memory. This page is about getting the whole group on one screen, and turning the debrief into something you can show rather than describe.
You cannot watch twelve boats at once
From the RIB you see the two boats nearest you and whatever the wind lets you hear. The debrief ends up built on what you happened to catch, and the sailor who most needed watching was the one behind you.
See the whole squad, live
Every boat named and tracked on one view while the racing happens, with the wind trace alongside, so you can move to the sailor who needs you rather than the one you can see.

Debrief with the real tracks
Replay the start with every boat on it, at speed or frame by frame. Show a sailor where they actually were at minus thirty rather than describing it, and settle the it-was-not-like-that conversation in ten seconds.

Coach the numbers, not the impressions
Speed, VMG, heel stability, tacks, ground lost per tack, time in phase and metres overstood — for one sailor against the fleet average from the same race. It turns a vague sail better into a specific thing to work on.
Vitals, boat versus fleet average
Questions coaches ask
What can I see from the RIB?
- Every boat in your squad, named and moving, on one screen.
- The wind trace alongside them, so you can see the shift a sailor missed rather than guessing at it.
- It means you can drive to the sailor who needs you, not the one who happens to be closest.
What do I get for the debrief?
- A replay of the race with every boat on it, at speed or frame by frame.
- Speed, VMG, heel stability, tacks, ground lost per tack, time in phase and metres overstood — for one sailor against the fleet average from the same race.
- It turns sail better into a specific number to work on, and it settles the it-was-not-like-that conversation in about ten seconds.
What do my sailors need?
- Their own phone and a mount. Nothing goes on the boat that you have to buy, charge or collect back in.
- Any reasonably modern iPhone or Android will run it, and there is a list of recommended models on the home page.
- You can set up a demo group and try it before you ask a single parent to install anything.
Who can see my squad's sailing?
- Sailors share with you using their own following code. They give it, and they can take it back.
- Followers cannot see each other, so one parent never sees another family's sailor.
- Your squad is organised as a group, the way you actually coach it.
Does it only work on training days?
- No. It works at club racing too, so you get tracks from the races your sailors were going to sail anyway.
- A challenge can run across a whole winter series rather than a single session.
- That means the picture builds up over a season instead of only on the days you were in the RIB.
Do I need to run the racing to use it?
- No. Coaching works whether the club is running RaceZen racing or not.
- Sailors can record their own sessions in Solo Mode and share them with you.
- When the club does run RaceZen, you also get the official line, marks and race clock alongside your squad's tracks.
