A group is what makes the feed worth reading — you see the sailors you share one with, and nobody else sees you. Separately, a following code lets you share your sailing with family or a coach, and they see you only, never each other.

What is a group?
- A group is the fleet you sail with — your club, your class, your squad.
- You see the sailing of people you share a group with, and nobody outside it sees you.
- It is what makes the feed worth opening, because everything in it is people you actually race against.
What turns up in the feed?
- Highlights that the racing works out for itself — best start, smooth operator, least ground lost per tack.
- Nobody has to write a post for there to be something to react to.
- You can also ask who is in before a sail, and find out before you load the boat rather than after.
What is a challenge?
- A target for a group over time — a winter series of sessions, a squad goal, or something invented on a Thursday night.
- Join one to appear in the standings, or set one up if you lead a group.
- It gives the months between regattas something to aim at.
How do I follow a regatta?
- Search for it by name, or enter the code the club gave you.
- Once you follow it, it stays in front of you instead of living in an email from March.
- You get the notices, the results and the racing in one place.
Who can see my sailing?
- Sailors in the groups you belong to.
- Anyone you have given a following code to — usually family or a coach. They see you only, and they never see each other.
- You control the code and you can withdraw it at any time.
