Bringing RaceZen to your club

The question we get most often from clubs is some version of: how much gear do we have to buy, and who has to learn it?

Start with one race

Not a season, not a series. One race, on a normal club evening, with whoever turns up. The point is to find out what breaks in your context before anyone commits to anything.

Roles, not equipment

RaceZen covers the whole event — race committee, course marks, support vessels and a base station, as well as the sailors. Most clubs find the committee side is where the time is saved.

What to sort before the first evening

  • Who is running the committee side, and have they opened the app once before the day?
  • Are sailors mounting phones properly, or wedging them in a pocket?
  • Is someone taking five minutes afterwards to show people the replay? This is the part that brings them back.

Then decide

After three evenings you will know whether it fits your club far better than any brochure could tell you.

If you would like to talk it through first, get in touch.
